Walmart tests vending robots

American behemoth Walmart has been testing automated vending robots at one of its stores in Arkansas. The vending robots are designed to provide impulse purchases (such as chocolate and beef jerky) to customers who are collecting shopping orders and may not necessarily be going into the store.
Customers make their purchases, and the vending machines then make their way to the customers vehicles and provide them with their products. The technology comes from a Silicon Vallery company called Tortoise.
